Navigating Data Walls
Updated onArticleGenerally, Data Walls are organized first by Scope (Me, School, District), then by folder.
Me
Walls defined in the "Me" scope are only available to be seen by the user who created the wall.
School
Walls defined in the "School" scope are available to any user who is assigned to the Currently Active School. Note: Data Walls cannot be scoped to School when "All Schools" is selected.
District
Walls defined in the "District" scope are available to any user in the school district.

Updated onArticleion Data Walls are flexible, interactive, spreadsheets of individual student information that can be sorted, grouped, and filtered. They are extremely useful in quickly identifying students needing additional instruction or enrichment.
In its most basic form, a data wall is a list of students. This list of students is determined by rosters, teams and user rights.

Navigating Dashboards
Updated onArticleGenerally, Dashboards are organized in the same way as Data Walls. These main folders are organized first by Scope (Me, School, District) and then by subfolders.
Me
Dashboards defined in the "Me" scope are only available to be seen by the user who created the dashboard.
School
Dashboards defined in the "School" scope are available to any user who is assigned to the Currently Active School.
District
Dashboards defined in the "District" scope are available to any user in the school district.

Introduction to Dashboards
Updated onArticleDashboards in ion are visual representations of the data for a whole school and / or district. The dashboard tool within ion is a customizable, flexible means of presenting data. In general, the foundation of any dashboard is a data wall.
Importantly, only the data wall columns that have utilized indicator bands will be represented on a dashboard. See information about indicator bands to learn more.
Data displayed on a dashboard relates to a user's permission settings.
