Progress Monitoring On and Off Grade Level

Some students may require progress monitoring both on and off grade level.

Grade Level Progress Monitoring

1. Begin by checking the skill (s) on which students will be monitored.  

2. Enter the date monitoring will begin.  The system will default to the start date of the intervention group start date.  Adjust as needed.

3. The student's current grade level will appear in "monitored grade."  

4. Click save.

When setting the start date for skills, be sure to select a date on or before the date the progress monitors are imported / recorded.  If the date selected is later than the progress monitors are imported/recorded, the data will not be available.

Off Grade Level Progress Monitoring

1. Begin by checking the skill (s) on which students will be monitored.  

2. Enter the date monitoring will begin.  The system will default to the start date of the intervention group start date.  Adjust as needed.

3.  The student's current grade level will appear in "monitored grade."  To monitor ONLY off grade level, adjust the grade to the desired grade level.

4. Click Save.

5. To monitor BOTH on AND off grade level, click the purple icon.  

6. The system will generate a pop up to ask if you want to monitor both on and off grade level.  Click OK.

7. The system will generate two skills for the student - one at grade level, and the second one will be red for the user to select the grade level to monitor off grade.  Make the selection.

8. Click Save again.

When setting the start date for skills, be sure to select a date on or before the date the progress monitors are imported / recorded.  If the date selected is later than the progress monitors are imported/recorded, the data will not be available.
