Adding, Locking or Deleting Skills

Updated on

A skill provides a framework for tracking progress.

Skills can be added to a student's individual plan or they can be added to an intervention group.

Adding New Skills to a Plan

The plan page contains a number of tabs: Academic, Behavior, Social-Emotional, etc.

To add a new skill to a student's plan, ensure you are on the "Overview" tab.

Click the green (+) icon next to the "Monitored Skills" header. A Dialog will appear.

On the dialog, complete all required fields to create the skill record. Click "Submit" when finished.

The skill will populate under "monitored skills"

At this point, the skill has been added to the student's plan, but the student has not yet been assigned to an intervention.  This can be accomplished on the skill page.  See assign student to intervention to add the skill to an intervention group.

Deleting Skills from a Plan

When a skill has been deleted from the plan page, it will no longer be available on the plan page, and it will be unchecked on the student's intervention group detail page.

To delete a skill from a plan, access the student plan and click on the skill.  Then, delete the skill using the "trash" icon.

A warning dialogue will appear.  DO NOT delete skills that have progress monitors attached or the information will be lost and may not be recoverable.
