Case Management Introduction & Navigation

Overview

The Case Management module provides users with a "digital file box" that holds interactions between staff and students who may require additional services.  These "interactions" may include:

  • Making referrals
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Recording meeting notes
  • Assigning tasks to staff members
  • Tracking student progress
  • Tracking service delivery requirements
  • Reviewing past and current decisions

The general workflow is shown in the chart below:  Open a case, Schedule meetings, Record meeting notes, Manage student cases, Review student cases.

Case Management requires set up in the Case Management Dictionary.  There, users decide how to open a case.  Once cases have been opened, they will be displayed on the Case Management Dashboard. Clicking on a hyperlinked student on the dashboard will display an Individual Student Case.
