Changing a Student's Plan - Intervention

Updated on

Interventions can be changed for students in a variety of ways. This article will discuss ending an intervention at the plan level.

When viewing student interventions on a student's plan, users with permissions to manage plans and delete interventions will see a trash can and a green "lock" icon.

Ending an Intervention on a Student Plan

When ending an intervention at the individual skill level, first navigate to the corresponding skill. On the Intervention panel, locate the intervention you would like to end.

To end the intervention...

1. Click the green "lock" icon. A dialog will appear asking for the end date of the intervention. By default, today's date will be provided.

2. Choose the proper date, and click "OK."  The page will redraw, and the intervention will be ended.

If the student is part of an intervention group, the group will remain open. Groups must be closed explicitly.

Deleting an intervention on a Student Plan

To delete the intervention...

1.  Click the "trash can" icon.

2. A dialog will appear that warns about permanently deleting an intervention.   Deleting an intervention cannot be undone.  It also permanently removes the record from the historical record.
