Attendance codes are part of the SIS Settings Setup in Administrative Management (District Admin)
We mention them again here in MTSS Setup as they are part of the required setup process.
Attendance Codes are required to be set up for the MTSS system to use Check Ins. At minimum, add "Present" and "Absent."
To enter attendance codes...
1. Click Admin>SIS>SIS Settings>Attendance Codes.
2. At minimum, set up "Absent" and "Present." Under the drop down for Use Type , select "Check In." (Both will also work).
3. Add other codes as needed for taking attendance in intervention groups.
4. Click Submit
5. Codes entered here will populate on the Check In.
The check in will not process if there are no attendance codes.
6. If "attendance" is checked and nothing is selected from the drop down, the first item of the drop down will be selected as the attendance choice. Notice that in this instance, it would be "Test Code"
